Eminent ulema and scholars stress it is the collective duty of Muslims to spread the Prophet’s message
SCCI, International Khatam e Nabuwat Movement hold ‘Seerat un Nabi’ (PBUH) Conference
PESHAWAR: President, Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Junaid Altaf, eminent ulema, religious scholars and business leaders emphasized that life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a universal role model for all of humanity and provides comprehensive guidance in all aspects of life for both Muslims and non-Muslims.
They said the modern world can attain true peace by emulating the principles espoused by Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
They were addressing during a ‘Seerat un Nabi’ (PBUH) Conference hosted by Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with International Khatam e Nabuwat Movement Peshawar here at the chamber house.
The Seerat-un-Nabi Conference is a largest religious gathering dedicated to discussions on the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
SCCI senior vice president Muhammad Nadeem, former vice president Abdul Jalil Jan, member of the chamber’s executive committee Gul Zaman, Mujeebur Rehman, Ashfaq Ahmad and Saddar Gul, Rashid Iqbal Siddiqui, Ishtiaq Paracha, traders, and business leaders and others were present on the occasion.
Eminent religious scholars, ulema and business leaders, including Maulana Tayyab Qureshi, Maualna Abdul Rehman Farooqi were keynote speakers during the conference.
SCCI president, ulema and religious leaders, scholars said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was a torch bearer and blessing for the entire universe.
Underlining the impact of the life of the Holy Prophet, Junaid Altaf highlighted that Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) lifted humanity from the abyss of ignorance, reformed man’s ideals, accorded him an elevated status and injected vitality into the decadent social order.
Junaid Altaf highlighted exemplary life and leadership qualities of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
His remarks underscored the importance of learning from the Prophet’s teachings and applying them in our own lives.
The SCCI chief mentioned that it is a matter of pride that we are the adherents of Muhammad’s religion whose own life is embodiment of mercy and lofty moral ideals.
He reiterated that the life of the Holy Prophet is a never ending stream of guidance for all humans in all walks of life.
“The legacy of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) will live on forever” he said.
Maulana Tayyab Qureshi and Mualana Abdul Rehman Farooqi in key-note speech said that the Prophet (PBUH) revolutionized the world in a short time and changed every aspect of people's lives through his personal example and deeds.
“He articulated a comprehensive code of conduct for interpersonal relations and formulating a healthy society through his personal conduct” the ulema said.
Religious clerics and ulema say the deterioration in society is due to not following the Uswa-e-Nabavi (the exemplary life of the Prophet).”
They emphasized that it was the collective duty of Muslims to spread the Prophet’s message.
