President SCCI Junaid Altaf chaired a meeting With Arms manufacturers and dealers to discuss key challenges faced by the small arms manufacturing and trading sector, with a particular focus on exports, regulatory hurdles, and policy-related issues. The meeting was attended by and leader businessman forum Ghazanfar Bilour Senior Vice President Muhammad Nadeem, former Presidents, former Senior Vice Presidents, former Vice Presidents, members of the Executive Committee, Secretary General Muqtasid Ahsan, representatives of the Businessmen Forum, and other stakeholders from the arms manufacturing and trading community. During the meeting, participants highlighted the importance of the small arms sector in contributing to national economic growth, export potential, and employment generation. Issues related to law enforcement, the interior department, licensing, and export restrictions were discussed, with a strong emphasis on the need for immediate and sustainable solutions.
